The mini room is currently doubling as Santa's workshop. I really need to get down there and clean up the tornado of packaging, but today I'm hoping to finish up with the Christmas list. I decided that it wouldn't be much fun for the kiddo to open presents and have to wait for us to free everything from the boxes, so I'm doing so before wrapping them up. Toy packaging is no joke! There were a few things that actually required a screwdriver to remove. Overall, I'd rather get those fiddly things off in the safety of my work space where it's not a big deal if they get lost on the floor.
I spent close to 4 hours yesterday building two gifts. They were not complicated, just had a load of pieces and I wanted to be sure I built them properly for little X :)
I'm excited about the holidays this year, it's been many years since that was true. How are your holiday plans coming along?

WOW! I thought I was prepared! My shopping is finished, but not wrapped. My daugher is getting her first dollhouse kit to build on her own, so it was easy to get things for that. I will just have to find a fancy envelope to hand my boys cash - not fun, but its what they want
