Final recap and Fall Intro

As the fall colors start to peek through more and more every day, I thought I would share some warm weather shots and lovely surprises from my hikes this year.  Then I figured this would be a great time to share some early Autumn fun with Xavier too. (all the shots click larger)

Wild Columbine

 Insect drunk on pollen

 Pond lilies

Someone worked hard on these trails.. thank you.

Wild Iris - my favorite

Bridge between the Manistee River
and North Country Trail

A few pinks and oranges coming through - Sept 17th

From above it all

At the base

The colors are not quite peak here just yet.  The cool air sure is and there are so many fun things to do like,

straw mazes

decorating Mama's birthday cake

playing in the corn box

 and cow rides!
(please excuse my hairdo, urgh I've been growing it out from a very short style)

I know, I know...Xavier is so big now, almost 18 months already.  He amazes me every day.

  1. Beautiful photos, April! And I can't believe Xavier is already a year and a half old. He's adorable. :)
